Telecommunications and FBI in bed together. WTF?
This morning I read two articles on the bus that simply shocked me to the core about the intertwined nature of the security organizations and the telecommunications companies. Here is a link to the first article.
FBI, Telecoms Teamed to Breach Wiretap Laws
This is simply scary as fuck and I can't believe the line that states that regardless of how the evidence was claimed, illegally, it still can be used against the defendant. As well that they are utilizing a social network mode of acquiring who their targets are calling.
What freaked me out the most was the case of reporters numbers being traced and their connection calls with their contacts. It seems that the tactic that is being used to find out who the reporters informants are and thereby DIRECTLY breaking the laws of freedom of speech and a reporter/informant protection.
But, the actual practice being used does not in the least surprise me. By bedding with the telecom companies directly with the FBI it gives obvious benefits. I wonder what the Ruskies are up to in the EU and only God and Buddha have a true insight into the Chinese practices that oh so carelessly deny their citizens any rights of digital privacy.
May the tech's see the light and save us all.
FBI Broke Law Spying on Americans’ Phone Records, Post Reports
This second article can be tied into the previous one on the vast practice of telecom and security organizations deeply tied and merging together. Hell, even the telecom employees had short cuts on their desktop for ILLEGAL forms to allow quick printing an signing away any of our privacy rights. I found it odd how this information was published by a reporter working for the Post, while the Post was one of the focuses of the FBI and their investigation into reporters phone records.
Hitler and Stalin must be laughing in hell about how the nations of freedom that fought and gave so much to stop them now have surpassed all their wildest dreams of control.

You should read Naomi Wolf's "End of America". She goes through step by step how the US is becoming a fascist state...it's actually quite advanced already. Really scary
